safe sex

India, Sept. 25 -- From desktop applications to "condom parties" - condoms have gone from the most embarassing six letter word to possibly the coolest word in town.

It started when a condom brand launched www.sendsomerubber.

com, a site that lets you send an application to friends which ensures that, whenever your friend chats about sex online or types out "sexy" words such as '69' or 'horny', a condom drops onto the screen with a message to promote safe sex. Peter McCann of Ansell Ltd, who is associated with the project, explains, "Sendsomerubber is an initiative to bring forth a message of safe sex.

" With 66,648 online rubbers already sent, the application seems to be a hit. On Facebook, an application named 'Send Your Friend A Condom' has over 30,000 users.

That's not all. Recently, a 'Cocktails and Kondoms' party was held at a popular nightspot in Delhi, with an aim to create awareness for safe sex among partygoers.

And, actor Ronit Roy, launched 'LOVE Condom', a campaign to promote AIDS awareness, in the Capital a few months ago. He said this generation is open about talking about sex and protection, "I've seen people go to chemists and ask for condoms in a hushed tone, but this generation is different".

Kaminey's Fatak song, which had actor Shahid Kapoor dressed up as a giant condom, has also been hailed for its message of safe sex.

how i met your mother

Yay! How I met your mother is back! :D

After waiting for so long I was glad to see the season 5. but one thing made me think when robin and barney hook up and like for 1000 times. And in previous season robin was dating ted. I mean in India when your best friend is dating some girl that girl is somewat like your own sister. I have some across people who call their best friends girlfriend bhabhi or vahini ( in marathi ) and whats shown in HIMYM is completely opposite to Indian culture. I mean it shows how life really is in there.

Also in one episode its shown that barney tells ted that he would like have sex with his sister.and ted just takes it as lightly as if it was just another girl barney was talking about having sex. If that would have been in India barney would have been dead that very moment.

I am not criticizing the series, I love it myself. But there are some things that are so different in there and here. I mean you sleep with your friend and the next day you act just as casual about it. Or like sleep with your best friends sister or his girlfriend. Its like all they want is sex.

With all the modernization and Indians getting more influenced by the west world and their lifestyle. I just hope their lifestyle really don’t take over our culture. We have got some ethics which are worth preserving. And that’s what makes us different from them.

Reality shows

whats with the television people these days? I agree reality shows are fun sometimes but they are just going a bit over the top these days. Whats with the reality shows like rakhi ka swayamvar and perfect bride and pati patni aur who??

I am sure they will get the highest TRP’s but they are just making fun of the most sacred relationship in India. I mean now swayamvar is over, well I watched it myself I found it really stupid yet a fun way to laugh. With just one show like that was ok… but now it’s a bit over the top. Now there is perfect bride where they will find a perfect match and get them married and then there is pati patni aur woh where they will married and take care of a child. Now I guess its not far away that they will start a show showing the honey moon and how to impress your mother – in – law and how to keep your husband in your control.
