Me aur meri maggie!

it was after school me and my boyfriend decided to spend the day at my place watching movies one after the other as my mother was out of town for a month. after the tiring school and french classes later we came back home around 2 pm. starving to eat something. just then i made a streaming hot bowl of maggie and we ate it together from the same bowl. made us sortof close. and it was fun watching movies reclining on bed and eating maggie. maggie used to save us from starving back in school days.

and now 3 years later, its still the same. whenever mom's not home and i have to eat something its always maggie.

Maggie has touched many people’s life. I have kids in my neighborhood who come back home from school and have a bowl of Maggie. We sometimes even have a Maggie get- together when all the kids in the society gather at my place and we enjoy our Maggie.

So thankyou to whosoever who created Maggie! You have saved us a lot of time from starving.

P.S – if you are thinking why I am suddenly falling in love with Maggie, well then it is because I was starving a hour back and Maggie saved me again :P

this and that! again :P

Hello people. I just finshed reading 2 states by chetan bhagat. Well it was chetan bhagat’s book of its obvious that I would love it. It made me think that even I should write a story about my love life. But the thing is I dunno how should I write a love story??? I am stuckkk so help needed! I don’t even know how should I start it.

The book was about 2 people a boy and a girl who are in love and wants to get married but the problem is that the girl is tamil and the boy is Punjabi, nice book all together. And a really nice topic to debate about like inter caste marriages should be taken lightly or no… well if you ask me it kinda freaks me out. so I think I should not comment on anything here :P

Day before yesterday had gone to virar with a couple of friends. As usual the Mumbai trains were jam packed but we managed to stand near the door. That made me think what will happen of this city if these trains were not there. I sometimes find them really cute like they are cute little animated robots which can actually feel and understand the need of a local man/women who is trying hard to reach his/her office in time and that’s why our trains are running all fast fast to make them reach at their destination. I love watching the train pass below the bridge while crossing the bridge to go from one platform to another.

And yes, I tried to smoke the other day. Well it was ok ok.. just worried I don’t get into habit. It was first cigarette in my life. And with all my friends smoking around me I had this huge urge to try :P

this and that~

Happy diwali!!!!

I know its late but still “better late than never” so happy diwaliiii people!. Its been a hectic week. With all the shopping and diwali preparations and visiting relatives.

Its fun as well as tiring all the same.

You know what, this year I made all diwali’s “faral” so it was damn fun!

And again I wore sari and got loads of compliments. Shopping was fun as well.

Today I went to mom’s friend’s place and I was pissed with everyone asking me “ do you have a bf?”, then I mom’s friend’s daughter gave me lots of rules as in what type of a guy to get, they are as follows,

1 – no smoking

2 – no drinking

3 – should not be a flirt

4 – and should own his own house while getting married. She says, that our mom’s have already given us good houses to live in then why should we degrade ourselves and not stay in a good house?

5 – should be settled while getting married and not be a stuggler nothing like” we both will work hard and struggle and make our living” he should be stable enough to support his family.

Well I dunno how much of this is right or wrong.well that’s for you people to decide. I would really like to know what you people think on this.

And now I gotta go.. rangoli time.. so happy diwali again everyone

Have fun and safe diwali!

Love you all…….

Rains rains rains….

Its pouring here in Mumbai and also in many other places in India. Well, yes now you’ll say its good its raining we need it we need water. But why is it raining in October? Its not the time when it should rain. And it’s not like normal rain it’s raining cats and dogs. Flooding everything stopping transportation and creating many other problems.

Well, when it happened a few years back we blamed the government for poor drainage system and what not. But I guess its not about government anymore its us. We hear about global warming every now and then. but no one pays heed to it. We are happy with the way we are. Why to think about what will happen 100 years later?

But then what about the human who will be there on earth that time? Why should they suffer because of our ignorance? I understand its really difficult to live without electricity and everything. And its also very difficult to lead a comfortable life if we sit in dark or without fan and AC and that’s not all.. our life is very much dependent on other house hold appliances which leads to global warming. If we cant stop it then try to find an alternative.

Like if you don’t need AC much then start he fan. And if you are in the hall then switch off bedrooms light. Or turn off the TV from the main switch or remove the mobile charger from the socket when not charging the cell phone. And most of all.. plant trees! Stop using plastic bags.

I know all these things I mentioned might sound childish and something that we all know of. But are we really paying any head to it? During summer we are sick of the heat and during monsoon it rains as if it will drown the whole world. We all know what we are about to face in a couple of years and still not doing anything about it.

Its time people. Its really the time that we should stop sitting back home not caring about the future and thinking that someone else might be doing it. It has to be us now.

Just start by avoiding plastic bags and planting trees or planting small plants in your surrounding and using as much less electricity as possible.
