I was watching mp3 ( mera pehle pehla pyaar ) a hindi movie about a girl and a boy and their love story. It made me think, we were the same when we were in our school. Those bets on silly things, and those dares and enjoying together in recess and free lectures.
I still remember those days, some of which I would love to share with you guys. It was in our classes we had lectures from 7 in the morning to 5 in the evening continuous. And we used to get a break of half and hour or smething, we were playing truth and dare and we dared a guy to go and ask an unknown girl her age. Lol… and he actually went and asked a passerby her age.
Another incident I remember was during the first day on diwali, and unfortunately we had our exams that day what we did was we decided to come to school a bit early in morning and a friend of mine brought “aapti bomb” and we were bursting crackers in the school no teacher came to know about it that time but later on the same day after the exams we tried our stunts and tried bigger bombs the teachers got to know, but no one knows who exactly did it till this day.
We had this thing in school, during winter we would wear sweaters in the morning but as the 2nd lecture get over we used to tie it around our waist, it was cool you know sport shoes, sweater tied up around your waist and the school dress used to be knee length. It used to look pretty.

Memories

Me Shivaji Raje Bhosle Boltoi
Me shivji raje bhosle boltoi, a new marathi movie released recently. It was houseful in the initial days and is still difficult to get tickets. With such a hot reception to the movie I expected it to be really nice. And my hopes were really high for it, though it did not fulfill my hopes to the fullest.
It showed a common Marathi man, who lives a normal life and the only earning man in the family of four. So obviously he is to face all the financial problems of the house. Well the story was good. But I guess they made the whole movie hypothetical.
I personally feel there was no need for shivaji maharaj to come in picture at all, I mean he hardly had any role, they could have just shown it in a different way like the hero is a follower of shivaji maharaj and takes lessons from his deeds and fight his way out of the problem. The graphics that they tried to show during the scene when shivaji maharaj rides on his horse and comes to the hero’s house looks absolutely fake. They were just trying to mix up “lage raho munnabhai”, “ rang de basanti”, and “ virudh” together.
The story was indeed good, but a bit more perfection in graphics and story board and yes, direction would have made a great effect!

The recent success of slumdog millionaire and the fact that “jai ho” bagged the oscar has made India very proud. “jai ho” is a term that Indian used in praising someone very often.and now that it is recognized worldwide, its makes them even more proud.
Its election time now, and congress has bought the copyright of the jai ho song and has decided to play it during their rallies. What I think is, is this some kind of a publicity stunt? Like they don’t really have any thing to back them up and win this time, so are they trying to get some attention to their party by playing the popular song during their rallies?
So next time people talk about congress, it wont be something like “ oh! The party who did this and that”, it will rather be “ oh! That party who has jai ho as their theme song”.
Sometimes I am just amazed by looking at these funny things people do. I guess the time is not far now, that we will see our politicians do item numbers on the popular songs and gain votes. Soon it might just be like just another reality shows we have to TV.
I think they got to know their priorities straight. Its about the government, its about India they are just making fun of it by using some movie songs and I guess that’s hindering the seriousness of elections.

Delhi 6
Recently I went to watch a movie delhi 6. it started off well, with a basic introduction of Delhi and a bit of information about the characters in the movie and all. But as it proceeds there was no story at all, no synchronization between two scenes. And the worst part was the belief that the so called “KALA BANDAR” had a mother board on this chest. I mean to say, if the person is educated enough to understand what a mother board is then he is quite intelligent to understand that a monkey cant have a motherboard on himself. Sonam kapoor had no work in the movie, I guess she was there only cause there is a need of a heroine in every movie and another reason was just to add a song on her ie “masakali”. And the other thing that makes me feel disgusted was this that, the actor dies in the end then goes to heaven meets his dad eats jalebi with him and come back to life..that was utter nonsense.
After rang de basanti I expected a lot from the director. This was not what he is supposed to make. The movie is just chaos and confusion with stupidest things like a monkey with a mother board and things like he dies goes to heaven and comes back.

Acquaintances
This though just came to my mind while surfing on facebook. A guy sent me a friends request who I just knew by name. like one of my friend knew him so it was just that I had heard about him once or twice. After he sent me the add request I got to know that I had 20 friends in common with him. Isn’t that wonderful? I mean u are connected to soo many people without even realizing it. Sometimes these acquaintances grow up into friendship then grows to bestfriends and then may end up falling in love with eachother or just have a fight and end everything there and there..so maybe be best friends for whole life. There are many possibilities and many things you cant predict. Life is surely a mystery. You never know what will happen next. But what I belive is, there is always some invisible magic or force which keeps giving you signs of what to do next, and you just have to understand those signs and do accordingly, I know I know this is very filmy and you might have even heard the same thing many times in different movies. Mumbai
Mumbai
Today I though to writing about Mumbai. And now I am stuck, I don’t know what to write about this city. I mean to say there is soo much in this city, so many things all happening at once. Just look outside your window, u will find different people doing soo many different things, there will be school kids going to school or coming back from there. There will be office going people who will be rushing for bus or train to get to their office in time. There will be college going kids who some maybe rushing to college while some just bunking and roaming around the city. There would be some beggars, waiting for the signal to go red, so they will go and beg for some money again.
In Mumbai you will find all the grades of the society, there are rich there are poor and there are the normal mumbaikars, middle class people who live their life freely. Yes there are tensions about finance and all but they are happy in their own way.
If we go to see from south Mumbai, there is a two extreme types of localities living there there is colaba, cuff parade, marine drive where its one of the most sophisticated area in Mumbai, then there is girgaum where there are people who are middle class and still have a potential in them. They are happy the way they are. They live in a small flat, or rather chawl.but content and happy with what they have. Coming a bit north there is dadar, one prominent area in Mumbai, u can say a the hub of Mumbai. And then going further north there Is bandra. You will find many film stars residing there. And then further north there is andheri, borivali and all, here you will find people who travel in train everyday, and their life is depended on the morning 9’oclock fast train to churchgate. They travel in trains everyday, no matter men or women the rush is the same and you have to fight for a place for youself.
But with all this hustle bustle and all the busy life everyone has. They are still happy with it, there is still the same humanity intact in this city. People will help you even if you are a stranger to them. They say that this city is filled with people with no heart. But being here and living in this very own city for so long I strongly deny it. It’s a city where even though there is no time for eachother, people still find ways to be there for eachother when they need it.

My take on .... EDUCATION!
Being a student, every student will say that they hate their syllabus, and why would they not hate it? Is there any need for a written exam for the subject like personal training and e.v.s ? don’t not EVS and PT mean just physical development and common knowledge about nature and surrounding?
Next talking about maths, on an avegare, a common man uses basic math like addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication. Then what is the use of learning all those formulas, theorems and solve all those problems who gives you not only stress but also results in students failing and then loosing hope that they can do something good in life. Why cant they keep some special subjects related to different profession like doctor, engineer, lawyer etc etc. so that, if a student wants to become a lawyer, he will choose the subjects which will actually help him to get through his dream, same will go for the doctors and other profession. I know this has loop holes, like the student going for lawyer will know just about his profession and will have no idea about other basic knowledge, well what is if I say that, let there be normal education till std 7th so that every student will get equal education and knowledge, then from 8th onwards people are quie smart enough to decide what they want to be so they can follow their dream. Let the students choose what they want to do. There is no use of studying the samething till graduation and then after that again take up a course of like years together and then get employed in your 30s with the lowest salary and then wait for the promotion. No doubt India is still going through the unemployment phase, and major portion of the population is soo dependent.
